The enemy of a vintage seller

If you're like me, your greatest enemy as a vintage seller is..TRYING ON the items. you buy something for the shop, and you swear you won't try on that darling dress and then a few minutes later, there you are in front of the mirror twirling or something. and it fits like a darn glove. well, that's not going to make much of a living :)
but sometimes, if you get to wear a dress just once...its easier to let the sweet little thing go.
And that's what i had to do with this little Jonathan Logan number.

I conclude sailor week on the addy's blog with this little nautical number which can be found in the shop

thanks for reading,

  1. oh wow...that is too cute and I love how you dressed it up with your saffron tights and shoes. are you sure you want to give it up? ;)

  2. Try it on once! What will-power. I am currently wearing a skirt AND a sweater I promised my husband I would sell! Mustard knits and graphic skirts are my most recent weakness.

By the way, I second what Anna said about the tights! Killer color.

I would have kept it. :)

  6. I also love the blue and yellow put together. It's SO CUTE on you. I'm a huge fan of the mini lengths, especially with the pleats.

  7. you hit the nail right on the head, to coin a totally inappropriate metaphor. I am, right now, wearing a little raspberry colored cropped jacket I just had to "try on." Now, of course, you've got me thinking of yellow and blue! delicious.
